Located in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter, the Oh Yeah Music Centre is Northern Ireland's dedicated hub for music, supporting, developing and showcasing musical talent from across the region. Founded in 2005 and opened in 2007, the centre was established by a group of music industry figures including Gary Lightbody, Stuart Bailie, Davy Matchett and Martin Neill, who shared a vision of creating opportunities for emerging artists.
Housed in a converted whiskey warehouse on Gordon Street, Oh Yeah has become a vital part of Belfast's cultural landscape, providing rehearsal spaces, recording facilities, mentoring programmes, exhibitions, educational initiatives and live performances. It has helped nurture generations of musicians while celebrating the rich musical heritage of Northern Ireland.
Today, the centre continues to host concerts, talks, workshops, exhibitions and community events, welcoming artists and audiences from across Belfast and beyond. Its inclusive approach and commitment to developing new talent have made it one of the most important music organisations on the island.
A home for music, creativity and emerging talent in the heart of Belfast's Cathedral Quarter.
