Moored on the banks of the River Lagan in Belfast's Titanic Quarter, Belfast Barge is a unique floating cultural venue housed aboard a restored historic barge.
Originally built in 1960 as a working cargo vessel, the barge has been carefully restored and transformed into a vibrant space for exhibitions, performances, talks, community events and cultural activities. Its distinctive setting offers visitors a memorable way to experience Belfast's maritime heritage while enjoying contemporary arts and cultural programming.
Situated close to the city's historic docklands, Belfast Barge reflects the important role that waterways, trade and industry have played in Belfast's development, while providing a welcoming venue for events throughout the year.
During Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Belfast Barge offers an intimate and atmospheric setting where music, storytelling and culture can be experienced in a truly unique environment.
Moored on the River Lagan at Lanyon Quay, we are owned by the not-for-profit charity Lagan Legacy
